Palantir has $1.5 billion in federal government contracts alone, including with the CIA, FBI, Marine Corps, Space Force and the Navy. The AI company was founded with CIA seed money and has been accused of enabling human rights violations. It was used to track down Osama Bin Laden and to help Ukraine. Or to find and deport illegal immigrants from the US. As one Bloomberg headline put it: “Palantir knows everything about you.” Big Banks are also customers.

 Palantir helped JP Morgan by ingesting emails, browser histories, GPS locations from company-issued smartphones, and transcripts of digitally recorded phone conversations to predict potential abuse. Former computer engineer turned whistleblower for Cambridge Analytica, a political firm that worked on 2016 Trump campaign, testified to the British Parliament that senior Palantir employees helped. He testified that the company was aware but did not have a formal contract. That they met at Palantir’s offices. Palantir denied the allegations blaming one rogue employee.
