During the last few weeks, a series of research papers have hit the market trying to predict what the future of Internet Search looks like.
Obviously, all signs point to AI, and recent news like Microsoft’s Copilot 365 showcase how insanely powerful these LLM-driven Copilots are going to be, and how they are going to elevate humans to a new productivity dimension.
Now, a company called Perplexity is showing us its newest Copilot aimed at AI-enhanced interactive search, and the results are astonishing.

Voices claiming that Generative AI was going to kill the standard way of search that has reigned over the last 20 years were many when ChatGPT was launched almost a year ago.
At that time, I was convinced that link-based Internet search was seeing its last days, but I think that the ending result doesn’t have to be that way, as proven by incredibly attractive proposals like the one Perplexity is bringing to the table with its first Copilot.
