Sword of Technological Globalization

The Double-Edged Sword of Technological Globalization

We have very often spoken about and read about how social media and new algorithms have changed the world. Information technology and new telecommunication systems changed the world; they made the world more connected, making the exchange of ideas and information easier through the power of the internet. Well, since the rise of the internet and social media tycoons like Facebook or X (formerly known as Twitter), the exchange of information among people from different corners of the world has increased exponentially. Well, it is good, as communication and information about crises and global emergencies can be spread out easily, making it easier to create awareness.

However, the internet has also made things like pornography, extremist communism, fascist preaching, and diabolical subjects easier to access and share with all parts of the world. The Internet and social media have also led to global unification, which is a great influence as it makes it easier to study subjects and reach out to and understand people, but it has also destroyed the niches of religions, cultures, and ethnicities all over the world. It has also led to the neglect of several minorities and people, such as the tribes of Andaman and Nicobar or the Samoan islands, leaving them behind and separating them from the rest of the world.
