Having COVID-19 Made me Question Existence Itself
How great of a feeling it is to plan a week out, know what you plan to do and when to make sure your week goes great? Then how awful it is to know that you catch the flu, a common cold, or in this case, COVID-19? Then you understand my circumstance as I wake up the following Sunday after spending a whole day visiting my sister. One of the most fun events I can imagine is visiting my sister. She will introduce my mother and me to food places near her residence. I attached pictures of some of the places she will frequent whenever we visit or when one of her friends visits. This location is Wishing Town Cafe Restaurant & Bakery, at 802 Nashville Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115. It is a very relaxing place that provides a nice deck with tables, fit for consuming Dim Sum dumplings while you work on your next full-scale novel.
After consuming this delicious dish of noodles and broth that consummate a noodle dish like no other, we were also brought to a donut place to get these six-pronged hexagonal-shaped donuts that have the same texture as funnel cake. Mine was covered in Matcha powder with a matching waffle stick dipped in the same creamy mixture. My mother went ahead with an order of frosted strawberry with whipped frosting atop and a strawberry slice as garnish. My sister ordered a frosted beignet topped with rice krispies and M&M pieces. The picture is attached for your viewing pleasure and if you are ever in Metairie, LA, make sure you give the place a visit!
